Requirements:

  1. Must have previous experience with handling and working with horses.

  2. Arrive on the morning of Sunday, 14 April 2019.

  3. Available for the duration of Adina Polocrosse World Cup 2019 (until 28 April 2019).

  4. Over 16 years of age on 1 March 2019.

  5. Ineligible to play at the Barastoc Interstate Series throughout the duration of the Adina Polocrosse World Cup 2019.

  6. Attend orientation at 2.30 pm on Sunday, 14 April 2019 where you will be appointed to a pool of horses.

Duties:

  1. Assist the Official World Cup Country Horse Coordinator in daily care of the Adina Polocrosse World Cup 2019 horses.

  2. Ensure horse welfare at all times.

  3. Assist with feeding and rugging of the horses in your allocated pool.

  4. Assist players with game preparation and recovery of the horses.

  5. Each day you will be allocated a time slot to assist with the reserve pool horses. This will include working, feeding and rugging.

  6. Report any unnecessary handling of the horses, injuries or illnesses to your Official Horse Coordinator immediately.

  7. Ensure no unauthorised persons have contact with the horses. Note – A country team member must be accompanied by their OFFICIAL World Cup Country Coordinator when in contact/dealing with horses.

  8. Ensure the Australian Stockman’s Saddlery Polocrosse World Cup 2019 rug remain on the horses at all times. These are the property of the horse owner.
