Official Accredited Photographers
Five official accredited photographers will be on site at IOR Morgan Park during the Adina Polocrosse World Cup, capturing the event and the competition. Only these accredited photographers will have pitch side access. These photographers will be easily spotted in their high vis vests and can be approached by competitors and spectators to take photos for them (at their own cost). We encourage everyone to support these photographers during the week and reach out to them via the contact details below if you would like to make any specific arrangements prior to the event.
As per Conditions of Entry, Photography is allowed for non-commercial purposes only.
Moon Lai
Polocrosse, to me, is the expression of trust, power and artistry between man and horse. My passion for polocrosse, and its various forms, has taken me to many places including Mongolia and China. I enjoy photographing nature as much as any sporting event and have recently been involved in elephant conservation.
Justine Rowe
Justine started her passion for sports photography while watching her children play sport and attending many sporting events herself.
She played polocrosse for years and loved taking her camera along with her.
Justine was recently the event photographer for the 2018 Australian National Championships.
She lives on a farm in the midwest of Western Australia and does rural media photography.
Justine’s attendance at the World Cup has been sponsored by Bendigo Bank, Landmark, Geraldton Air Charter, EBM Insurance, Rogue Pony, Macca’s Rural, Emerald Grain, and Hylux Performance Horses.
Katie Mendl
Katie Mendl, a local Toowoomba equine photographer, has been shooting professionally for over ten years. She established her fine art print business, Calico Pony, six years ago and now ships her work globally to clients, interior designers and stores.
Katie also undertakes a select number of commissions annually and provides equine event coverage within Australia.
Shannon Gilson
With split second captures and being as close to the action as feasibly possible, Shannon strives to capture natural action and genuine emotion. Her style is based on the beauty of real people and natural movement rather than stiff poses. The challenge to capture the next unique moment keeps her shooting.
