KATANDRA SONATINA is an 8 year old brown mare who is a proven top level polocrosse horse at Zone, State, National and International levels.
Sonatina was bred by Katandra ASH Stud owned by the Collins family at Nanango Queensland. Sonatina is by SODA REVELATION. Sonatina’s dam was an A Grade mare COLLIE SPRINGS VIENNA OPERA whose career was cut short due to a leg injury. Sonatina was her first foal.
Trent Collins, a former Australian World Cup player started playing Sonatina as a 4 year old for the Tansey Club where she quickly went on to win multiple best horse prizes in A Grade most notably Best Horse and Rider A grade at the Queensland State Titles in 2017.
Sonatina is an exceptional polocrosse horse with her best asset being her speed and agility and ability to excel in big games. At the 2017 SA v AUS Test series in Warwick, South Africa were fortunate to have her in her their pool where she demonstrated her ability and stamina in the game.
KATANDRA SONATINA is a quiet, easy mare to have around and instinctively knows when the game is on and when it is done and automatically switches off.
