HAYDON DOVE is a 7 year old bay mare. We purchased her from the Haydon Stock Horse Stud as a weanling. Haydon Dove is out of HAYDON WREN by the Thoroughbred sire, TECHRICO.
After breaking her in we took her slowly with plenty of young horse chukkas. When she was five she played a number of low goal polo tournaments with Trent Mortimer.
Dove started her polocrosse career soon after at multi-horse carnivals. As a 6 year old she played a further six carnivals, mainly in the No. 1 position. She is usually played by Gary for the Sydney Club.
Leading into the 2019 polocrosse season she played three polo tournaments with Kevin Stevenson to help with her fitness. Prior to the World Cup she will have played a further three polocrosse carnivals, with Abbott Grills playing her in the No.1 and No.3 positions at Lake George Carnival.
HAYDON DOVE is very fast and an easy mare to have around who loves playing polocrosse.
