HAWTHORNE MATILDA – HSH is an 8 year old homebred chestnut mare. Matilda is normally played by Sophie Wells from the Warwick Club and for the past three years she has been a member of NEGS School Polocrosse team.
After initially being started by Kent Wells, Matilda has been brought along in the game of polocrosse by Sophie and occasionally loaned to Kyla Hill.
Matilda has successfully played in all positions and some of her achievements include:
Best No.3 at the NSW State Polocrosse Championships
Best No.2 at the North West Equestrian Schools Expo at Coonabarabran, NSW
Best No.1 with Kyla at the Walcha & Guyra polocrosse carnivals.
Matilda has been part of winning teams at Junior level at NSW State and Zone Titles, Coonabarabran – North West Equestrian Expo and U21 level at NSW Zone titles.
