BERRAGOON FAVOUR is a 14 year old bay mare who is a homebred Berragoon horse via embryo transfer. She is out of our wonderful mare BERRAGOON RAVERS and by resident sire STONEBROOK FINNO. She is our first Ravers foal.
Favour is a solid mare who has been playing at the top level, playing three Nationals for NSW.
She was broken-in at a Gerald O’Brien School and was quite a stubborn girl, but she turned around pretty quickly and will still take advantage if she can! She is fairly small and excels in the No. 1 position, and won Best No.1, and the Carmel Brien Trophy for the Champion Ladies Horse at the 2016 NSW Zone Championships, under Carlie Grills, her main rider for the past 5 years.
She has won and placed in campdrafts and is just a little quirky... probably comes with age!
Favour’s dam Ravers, is probably the best horse Berragoon ASH Stud has had play, mainly partnering with Lucy Grills. She has an amazing list of achievements, and is represented by three progeny in this World Cup: BERRAGOON FAVOUR, BERRAGOON BEACHES AND BERRAGOON SCARLET. Ravers is the dam of over 43 foals including three ASH sire sons.
